2025 CLL European Challenge Europe from March 20 - 31, 2025

My name is Bauer Day Rider and have been invited by the Canadian Lacrosse League to represent Canada at the 2025 CLL European Challenge in Europe from March 20-31, 2025, as part of the 20-man final roster.

I started my Lacrosse journey in a Lethbridge in 2022 at a late age (16) playing for the Lethbridge Cudas U16 team, this was my first year playing lacrosse. I was then drafted by the Lethbridge Cuda’s Tier 1 team in that same year. In 2023 I made the Taber Chaos Tier 2 team; this coming year will be my third year playing for the Chaos. I have also represented Kainai Lacrosse at the 2022 and 2023 Alberta Indigenous Games taking home silver both times.

Each year, there are many expenses that come with competing and playing for the Chaos and representing Kainai at AIG, which I am thankful to my parents for covering these costs.

Representing Canada and the Blood Tribe at the 2025 CLL European Challenge in Europe as an elite athlete will be an honor that I am looking forward to. But with this new once in a lifetime opportunity the main barrier will be costs and expenses to make this journey as it will be overseas. Since I got this invite two days ago this only gives me 3 weeks to raise funds to attend this competition.
