2024 Anchorage Marina Staff Holiday Appreciation Fund

Anchorage Marina owners, guests, and friends,

We have wrapped up another great season of boating, fun, and friendship. Our team managed through a fire, the Key Bridge collapse, closing, and related cancellations, but we nailed the new pool which I think all would agree is a great hit! It added to our Saturday night festivities which remained central to the boating lifestyle. None of this would have been possible without the warm hospitality of our dedicated marina staff who operate behind the scenes to make everything come together. Now is the time for us to let them know how much we appreciate all their hard work. It is what sets us apart from just being "another marina".

As I mentioned during our recent meeting, one of the staff members came up to me in tears following receipt of her envelope last year and stated that we cannot imagine how much it meant to her. It made a huge impact on her holiday season. In 2023, we raised enough money for each of our 10 staff members to receive $1,000! Let's at least try to hit that target this year. I have received donations from $10 to over $1,000. With 550+ slips, the volume of owners, renters, and transients whose summer or stay was impacted by the staff's hospitality is significant. It is all about participation. Even if only $10, it really adds up with a high percent of participation.
