2023 Winter Care Package Event

In Canada, around 235,000 people experience homelessness, with tens of thousands facing the harsh winter elements each night. As housing costs rise, essentials like warm gloves, warm socks, toothpaste, toothbrush, lip balm, and emergency blankets become crucial. Project Impacting Lives (PIL) is a community initiative that aims to meet the needs of people facing homelessness in Canada and to spread love in our communities.

Over the years, we have delivered over 2000 care packages filled with warmth and essentials all thanks to your support. This year, we are elevating our mission. Our goal is to expand from 1,500 to at least 5,000 care packages. This signifies our commitment to reaching out further and touching more lives across Ontario. We’re broadening our horizons to include not just Toronto, but also Hamilton, London, Waterloo, and Ottawa. Each care package will bring winter essentials such as gloves, socks, tampons, emergency blankets and more.

To achieve this monumental task, we can’t do it on our own. We need your support. This is how you can help achieve our goals.
