2023 Boston Marathon to Support A Place to Turn

Tax deductible
I'm beyond excited and honored to be running the 127th Boston Marathon on April 17th for A Place to Turn! A Place to Turn (APTT) is an emergency food pantry in Natick, MA whose mission is to provide emergency food, diapers, and personal care items to the local Metrowest community. I first started working as a volunteer at APTT in 2018, and had the incredible opportunity to also serve as a Student Board Member during my senior year of high school. Whether it was sorting food in the back room, distributing food and talking with customers, or discussing future projects in a board meeting, I have seen firsthand how APTT is unfailingly committed to its mission that service cannot be separated from compassion, respect, and dignity. Since the onset of the pandemic, the need for food assistance in the Metrowest community has increased significantly, with APTT serving 64% more families in 2022 than in 2021. 50% of those served are children. The mission of APTT, and the people who uphold it, make it such a special organization to be involved with. I am thrilled to be able to support APTT as their sole charity bib runner with my goal of raising $8,000! 100% of all donations will go directly towards the purchase of nutritious food. This will be my first time running 26.2 miles (ahh!) - please join me in supporting A Place to Turn!!
