2021 Caring & Sharing Exchange & Landscape Ontario

In previous years, the Landscape Ontario, Ottawa Chapter gave back to the community by participating in the Caring & Sharing Exchange’s Sponsor a Hamper program, a Christmas Exchange initiative. In year’s past, we joyously put together 10-15 Christmas food hampers to deliver to local families in need, providing them with delicious meals to enjoy during the holidays. Last year, the Caring & Sharing Exchange supplied over 19,000 individuals with food assistance at Christmas and we played an integral part in that success.
This tradition has become a valuable team building experience and shows that the landscaping community is here to help, during good times and bad times. On top of this, our efforts provide hope, dignity, and support to those who are struggling at what should be the most wonderful time of year!
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the need for our support this year is greater than ever, and we need your help!
We have decided that instead of sponsoring 10-15 hampers this year, we would like to start an organization wide fundraising campaign to supply this great initiative with 50-70 Christmas food hampers.
Your compassion towards this program will relieve struggling families of the financial burdens that coincide with the holidays, ensuring no one goes without food at Christmas.
