2019 Wesley House Baseball Camp

Donation protected
Last year for my senior Capstone project I decided to take my love of baseball to the inner city here in Knoxville. We conducted a one-week baseball camp with 25 elementary aged inner city kids served by Wesley House.

The idea was simple enough - get some people together and teach the kids a little baseball, have some devotionals and snacks, and have fun.  Little did I know how impactful this project would be...for the kids, the volunteers, the inner city neighborhood....and for me. I have decided to do the camp again, and build on the work we did last year.

Although this camp is free of charge to the kids, conducting it is not free. We provide the equipment, snacks, shirts, hats, everything. Last year we were also able to give each kid his/her own bat, glove, ball, bag, snacks and a comic Bible to take home. Will you chip in and be part of my vision of impacting these kids for the better through instruction, team-building, and one on one attention?

Every donation will be put to good use! And by the way, if you would like to volunteer,  donate equipment,  or know others who would, please get in touch with me. I invite you to share this campaign with anyone who loves baseball or loves helping kids! Thank you in advance for helping out.
