2018 Mission Trip to El Batey DR

Hey everyone!
I would like to start this off by saying how grateful I have been in my life; with the amazing opportunities, I’ve been dealt. Being abroad last semester really changed my worldview and gave me a new perspective on my life. That’s why I am beyond excited to be taking part, on a mission trip lead by Foundation for Peace, this summer.
This May I am joining the Presbyterian Church in Morristown on a mission trip to El Batey, Dominican Republic. While we are in El Batey we will work on numerous construction projects, including building a community center and kitchen facilities at the elementary school. We will also be teaching Bible School to the children of the community and bonding with the elders. Foundation for Peace believes that the greatest transformations happen when we do God’s work together, hand in hand. I am beyond excited to be hand in hand with the church and the people in the Dominican Republic.
The money I am hoping to raise will go towards my flights to and from DR, my lodging, and supplies needed for the construction project. I am looking to raise $2,400 amount of money. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! I would be eternally grateful if you could please donate to my trip! Anything and everything will help me reach this goal, and I hope you share my excitement for this trip. At the end, I will be sharing my experience and sending photos to everyone who has helped me throughout this journey.
