Come join us support a great cause and ring in the New Year while you are freezin for a reason!
We are gearing up for the 6th Annual Polar Plunge in support of Rhode Island Center Assisting those in Needs (RI CAN). We have some new things planned for this year and are bringing back some classics such as free coffee from The Bakery, pizza at the Breachway Grille, and the melodious sounds of Boatcake. Our goal is to raise $30,000 dollars this year. This is the highest goal yet but very achievable thanks to all the great support we receive from our sponsors and you the Plungers and On Lookers. So pencil us in and we will see you January 1, 2017 at Charlestown Town Beach for a plunge at 12 sharp!
We are happy to take donations now! By giving early, we can ensure a Happy Holiday Season for those in need by providing a full cupboard and warm meal. No donation is too small as every penny counts.
Rhode Island Center Assisting those in Need (RI CAN) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization providing emergency food, clothing, and other vital supports to neighbors in crisis throughout the state, primarily in Washington County and surrounding areas.
