2013 Oakland Mosswood Easter Egg Hunt

Donation protected

Thank you for visiting our Easter Egg Hunt Page.  We are hosting the Oakland Mosswood Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30th from 1 PM - 4 PM at Mosswood Park.

When we first started this Easter Egg Hunt in 2006, it was to provide a memorable, fun, FREE community event for a few dozen families on Easter weekend, while also supporting our local Oakland Parks & Recreation Center.  7 years later, it has become one of the largest FREE events for kids in Oakland, and one of the largest FREE Easter Egg Hunts in all of the Bay Area.

The mission remains the same though:

To provide a day to remember for Oakland families, where kids can get free lunch, have fun collecting candy, create great memories with their parents in the park, all while their parents are free to simply have fun with their kids and not have to worry about paying for this fun day.

Last year, we provided over 1500 kids with 500,000 pieces of candy, 1000 lunches, 10,000 plastic eggs, and gave away 25 bicycles to kids.  We expect between 1500 - 2000 kids this year and need your help in order to provide them the same experience for even more kids.

We hit our goal of raising $2000.00 by Friday, March 29th to provide a fun-filled day for so many kids was accomplished.  Thanks so much!  We have now increased the goal to $2400.00, which will got to purchasing more candy, eggs, lunches, and bicycles.  We appreciate any donation you can provide.
