200 Chairs for Van Buren Hall
Donation protected
The $2,500 target for the Van Buren Hall Chair campaign has been achieved!!!
Thanks to all, including those opting to contribute directly by cash/check.
***********************************************************
Van Buren Hall, the recently renamed second floor of the Kinderhook Village Hall now undergoing restoration, is a wonderful and historic (1874) space. It is perfect for many activities including lectures, classes, concerts, parties, dances . . whether public or private. EXCEPT THAT IT NEEDS CHAIRS!!!
To provide chairs, YOUR HELP IS NEEDED. For $12 per chair (or even better multiples of $12!) the necessary chairs will be purchased (including shipping, etc.), and a much higher rental expense avoided for those using the hall. Although fundraising for this is organized by a small group of committed village residents, the chairs will be the property of the village.
Note: Contributions to this appeal are not tax-deductible. Contributions by cash or check are also possible.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
For specific questions please contact Brad Lohrenz: [email redacted]
