20 Yrs Lost, Home Torn: Rebuild Our Lives

**Our Story**

For twenty years, our family of six dreamt of returning to Gaza and building a life there. Finally, after years of exile, that dream became a reality. We purchased a house, a place to raise our children with love and security. We lived there for seven years, filled with happiness and the warmth of familiar surroundings.

Then, in the blink of an eye, everything changed. The October 7th war tore our world apart. Our house, the symbol of our hope, was destroyed. Our dreams lay in ruins, along with the walls that sheltered us.

Despite the crushing weight of this loss, we persevered. The financial burden of the unfinished mortgage remains, but we find solace in patience. We are a family defined by our resilience.

The war forced us to move over seven times, enduring relentless bombing and harrowing living conditions. The lack of food became a constant struggle, with even a loaf of bread transforming into an impossible dream.

**A Plea for Hope**

We are reaching out, to a small family with a desperate plea. We ask for your help, no matter how small, to rebuild our lives and our dreams.

Firstly, we seek assistance to cover the costs of rebuilding our home. It is a chance to reclaim a sense of normalcy and stability for our family.

Secondly, our eldest son, Ibrahim, requires urgent medical attention. The war exacerbated a previous injury to his right knee. Due to limited medical facilities in Gaza, he needs surgery abroad.

The cost of saving one person's life is only $5,000 to leave our son from Gaza, so we only need $15,000 to go out and undergo the operation, and $10,000 for housing and other expenses.

Rebuilding our destroyed house costs nearly $45,000.

نحن اسرة مكونة من ستة افراد، عشنا في ظروف الغربة عشرون عاماً وكنا نتمنى بل نحلم بالعودة إلى غزة وامتلاك بيت فيها، وأن نستقر به ونربي أولادنا فيه، وفي يوم تحقق حلمنا وعدنا لوطننا غزة، واجهنا صعوبات كثيرة جدا في امتلاك البيت، فلقد امتلكناه بعد 7 سنوات من رجوعنا لغزة، كنا سعداء جدا به وعشنا فيه بالحب والمودة والألفة.

فجأة تغير الحال لأسوأ حال ففي حرب 7 أكتوبر وبلمح البصر دمر البيت ودمرت حياتنا وأحلامنا، ذهب البيت وما زلنا لم ننتهي من تسديد ثمنه، ولكن هذا قدرنا وصابرين رغم الوجع والألم والمعاناة.

بسبب فقدان منزلنا، اضطررنا للنزوح أكثر من 7 مرات تحت القصف الشديد وفي ظروف معيشية قاسية جداً. عانينا من المجاعة في شمال غزة لدرجة أن رغيف الخبز أصبح حلماً بعيد المنال.

نحن كأسرة صغيرة نرجو منكم المساعدة ولو بالقليل لإعادة وبناء هذا الحلم الذي عاد ليصبح حلماً من جديد، ونطلب المساعدة لمحاولة خروج وسفر ابننا الكبير إبراهيم ليجري عملية في ركبته اليمنى إثر تفاقم اصابته السابقة في هذه الحرب وذلك لعدم توفر المستشفيات والإمكانيات اللازمة لإجراء هذه العملية...!

إن تكلفة إنقاذ حياة فرد واحد تبلغ 5000 دولار فقط لمغادرة ابننا من غزة، لذلك نحتاج إلى 15000 دولار فقط للخروج وإجراء العملية، و10000 دولار للسكن والنفقات الأخرى.

وإن إعادة بناء منزلنا المدمر كلياً تكلف ما يقرب 45000 دولار
