20 miles for Jack

After loosing my amazing big brother earlier this year to a tragic car accident, it has highlighted the many dangers that occur on the roads. It’s awful to think that there are many factors, both on the roads and in a vehicle, that have the capability of taking someone’s life away. It is extremely important to me that i raise awareness of this to as many people as possible, as having my brother ripped away from me at 20 years old is devastating.

As a result, I have set myself the challenge of walking 20 miles in memory of Jack. Jack loved the outdoors and had a true passion for being with nature. He was always up for going for a adventure, whether that was walking, running, biking or camping, he never said no to being outdoors. I am looking to complete this walk towards the end of December, which gives me enough time to raise as much money as possible.

All money i raise will be donated to the incredible charity, Brake. Brake are a charity that give aid to those who have been in a car accident or lost someone to an accident. Whether that be offering advice or being there to talk to, Brake are there to help those affected. Brake also use funds to implement changes on roads, and raise mass awareness of the dangers that occur.

I would be incredibly grateful of any sponsors, small or large, that I can donate to this charity. It means so much to me that I do my part in ensuring no other families have to face a tragedy so similar to mine. I hope people become aware of potential dangers on the roads, as well as making sure all individuals travelling in vehicles are safe by following rules, such as always wearing seatbelts, in order to protect themselves and the driver in the front.
