The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Western Regional Younger Member Council (WRYMC) Conference will be held in Burlingame, CA in January 2020. The conference is fast approaching and the planning committee is actively working towards an aggressive fundraising goal. This funding will allow us to create a truly unique experience for the hundreds of young civil engineers that will visit the Bay Area in January. Through the many conference workshops, technical sessions, site tours, networking events and awards banquet we hope to convey the culture, technology, innovation and sustainability that defines Civil Engineering in the Bay Area.
The WRYMC 2020 conference is the premier event of the year for young members and it was last hosted in the Bay Area in 2008. A committee of over 20 young members from the San Jose and San Francisco Young Member Forums have been working diligently over the past two years to make this conference a reality and we ask that our friends, family and past attendees partner with us in this effort. Here is a once in a decade opportunity to highlight Civil Engineering in Bay Area for young civil engineers from across the West Coast!
