2 Transporter für "Lützerath Lebt" & "Kesha Niya"

Gemeinsam sind wir stark!

Deswegen sammeln wir zusammen Geld für dringend benötigte Fahrzeuge:

Das eine Fahrzeug ist für „Lützerath Lebt“, das andere für „Kesha Niya“.

 

Lützerath ist ein Dorf direkt an der Kante des stetig wachsenden Braunkohletagebaus Garzweiler II im Rheinland. Seit mehreren Jahren leben und organisieren sich Menschen dort, um die Zerstörung des Dorfes durch den Tagebau von RWE zu verhindern. Die Braunkohle unter dem Dorf ist extrem klimaschädlich – deshalb muss sie im Boden bleiben.
  
Weil viele von uns finden, dass wir unser Engagement solidarisch verbinden wollen, sammeln wir ebenfalls Geld für Kesha Niya. Die Gruppe arbeitet an der italienisch-französischen Grenze in Solidarität mit people on the move (u. A. refugees). Diese erleben dort tagtäglich illegale Pushbacks durch die französische Polizei – das Küchen-Kollektiv solidarisiert sich mit allen, denen ihr Recht auf Bewegungsfreiheit verweigert wird!

 

Beide Gruppen brauchen akut einen Van, um Personen und Material transportieren zu können – ohne Fahrzeug ist die Arbeit nicht möglich: Weder an der Tagebaukante, noch an der Grenze am Mittelmeer.

 

Deswegen haben wir uns entschieden, gemeinsam dieses Van-Funding zu starten!

 

Wir brauchen ca. 14.000 € für Kauf, Reparatur, Versicherung, etc. für beide Fahrzeuge zusammen.

Falls nicht der gesamte Betrag zustande kommt, teilen wir die Summe nach Bedarf auf, je nachdem wo das Geld gerade dringender gebraucht wird.

Unter Lützerath liegen hunderte Millionen Tonnen Braunkohle, die der Energieriese RWE verfeuern will:

Egal, ob noch bis 2038 oder "nur" bis 2030:

Jeder Tag, an dem in Deutschland weiter Kohle verfeuert wird, ist ein Schlag ins Gesicht von Millionen Menschen, die nicht in reichen Industrieländern leben. Oft sind es besonders marginalisierte Gruppen, die am meisten von Klimagewalt betroffen sind:

Frauen und sich als nicht-binär, Trans-, Inter- oder a-gender identifizierende Personen;

Kinder und andere Menschen, die nicht den Normen von Leistungsfähigkeit entsprechen; und vor Allem:

People of Colour, die seit Jahrhunderten gegen rassistischen Strukturen kämpfen.

Rassistische Strukturen, die seit dem Beginn des europäischen Kolonialismus bestehen & die eng mit der Klimakatastrophe verknüpft sind, denn:

Wer verursacht die Ausbeutung von Mensch und Natur? Wer ist verantwortlich für CO²-Emissionen und wer leidet darunter?

Ehemalige Kolonialmächte, wie Deutschland, haben seit Langem "Wohlstand" auf Kosten von anderen Menschen und nicht-menschlichen Lebewesen angehäuft. Das darf so nicht weitergehen!

Mitten in der eskalierenden Klimakatastrophe noch weiter Braunkohle abzubaggern, ist genauso falsch, wie dem Großkonzern RWE Entschädigungen dafür zu zahlen, dass er Profite für reiche Investoren auf Kosten der Allgemeinheit schafft!

 

Damit das so nicht weitergeht, blockieren wir RWE gemeinsam in Lützerath - und um möglichst viele Menschen zu sein und die Logistik stemmen zu können, damit es allen hier gutgeht, brauchen wir - leider - einen Van!

„Kesha Niya“ ist Sorani(-kurdisch) für „Kein Problem“.

 

Das Kollektiv arbeitet seit 2015 in Solidarität mit Geflüchteten und anderen people on the move, erst in Frankreich, seit 2017 in der Region Ventimiglia, Italien.

 

Viele Menschen, die in Europa Zuflucht suchen, eine Zukunftsperspektive finden wollen, die im vorherigen Zuhause nicht existiert, oder die aus anderen Gründen ihr Recht auf Bewegungsfreiheit wahrnehmen wollen, aber nicht „die richtigen Papiere“ dafür haben, hängen in Ventimiglia fest:

Die französische Polizei führt täglich dutzende (im Schengen-Raum sogar offiziell illegale) Push-Backs durch und hindert Menschen an der Weiterreise – oft mit körperlicher Gewalt, auch gegenüber Minderjährigen.

Lützerath is a village in the Rhineland, Germany. Under its last remaining houses lay hundreds of millions tons of brown coal.

Since more than a year now, people are living and organising there, to prevent the destruction of the village and to stop one of Europe's biggest CO²-polluters: the coal mine Garzweiler II, owned by energy giant  RWE.

Fighting against fossil capitalism also means to learn new ways of living and organising  together:

Many people live in Lützerath the whole time, neighbours come by to support the activists everyday, and other friends, families and affinity groups come and stay for some days or weeks - but the village is kilometers away from the next town and train stations,

which is why a shuttle- & logistics-vehicle is urgently needed there.

Germany is not where climate violence affects people the most - but as a first step, we think it's necessary for former colonialist countries, like Germany, to acknowledge their immense responsibility for the climate crisis meaning also to stop fueling it!
The coal which is burned here, affects primarily marginalised beings in the global souths who have already been fighting against colonialism - and therefor as well against the ongoing climate and environmental crisis - for centuries!

We want to join them in the struggle for a world without discrimination like racism, sexism & trans-hate, ableism, ageism and overcome the capitalistic structures that destroy nature - and humans being part of her!

Kesha Niya (Sorani Kurdish for ‘No Problem’) is a grassroots volunteer-run project and collective. We work in solidarity with people migrating to and within Europe and we are currently active at the Italian-French border.

At “breakfast”, we are present almost 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, close to the French border. We are situated on the only route from the French border police station to Ventimiglia, meaning we come into contact with all the people who have recently been pushed back into Italy. Here, we provide food, drink, rest, legal information, some clothes and bedding, hosting possibilities and signposting to other organisations. We also monitor the pushback situation and people’s treatment by the police, and we share this information with relevant actors and in our regular reports on the situation at the border.

We are motivated by the belief that the current border regime stands in the way of freedom, safety and human rights for all.

Borders breed hatred and prejudice, and endanger lives and wellbeing; Fortress Europe is responsible for the deaths and suffering of countless people, including at the Italian-French border. As a collective of mostly Europeans, we feel shame and anger at the policies and practices that make Europe a brutal, hostile, deadly place to people who wish or have to come here.

We work at this border in an attempt to show solidarity to migrating people, to make people’s journeys slightly more comfortable, to help people claim their legal rights and to hold the authorities to account when they act brutally and illegally.
