Electricity For Christmas for Lakota Couple & Baby

A young couple that helps me around my house from time to time shared with me that they are living with no electricity. It is cold here in SD. It has snowed a lot. My young friends have a baby due in February. They are both currently doing odd jobs & cutting wood but even their truck is down. They have been living without electricity for at least 4-5 months. NEED: They need electrical wiring that would connect their trailer house to the electrical pole in the yard. This can be done by Cherry Todd Electric for $418. They could also use some good, used tires to get their truck going - without it they can’t cut wood to heat their home and they can’t make extra money. I set a goal of $650 because after fees, they will have the money for the wiring and at least a couple of tires (a little under $200). FUND: Donations will be held in the fund until the total is reached. I will provide receipts from the electrical company and the local tire barn. REASONS TO DONATE: These young people need help. We all will be sitting in our living rooms in a few days celebrating with Christmas lights. These young people are doing their best but just don’t have the resources to help their situation. They are both actively trying and they are working towards their GED goals as well. They’re a couple of good kids who really need our help. They need lights and a way to keep them on (tires for their truck so they can cut wood for themselves and others). PLEASE GIVE! All receipts will be provided.
