Help Celebrate the Magic of the Holidays – They can smile again!!
Happy holiday season to you all! This season is all about building fond memories with our love ones, as well as doing a little something extra to bring joy to those who are hurting.. A truly magical time! Unfortunately, many in other parts of the world, especially children in developing countries, don’t get the opportunity to enjoy the “magic” due to poverty. However, together we can make a difference and bring a smile and happiness to these children and the families!
Our goal is to raise $3000.00 to help feed about 1000 young children and vulnerable families in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Accra, Ghana; kids who are in dire need of food, medical care, and clothing. With your donation we can help these young boys, girls, and their families escape hunger this holiday season and in the future. Your gift will provide loving care needed to serve these families as well as help create small businesses that will allow them to be more self-supporting throughout the year and have a sustainable source of income. Without a sustainable source of income at a sufficient level, young children and their families do not have access to nutritious food, clean water, or health care, and they become victims to the deadly effects of undernutrition. We hope you will join us together to embrace the holiday spirit of generosity and give from the heart!
During this holiday season, I am reminded of 2 Corinthians 9:11 in the Bible, "You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God." We are so thankful for your compassion, faithfulness, and generosity.
