Saving Grace : A mother’s worst nightmare

I am the mother of that beautiful smiling babygirl in the profile picture. McKinsley Grace, my saving grace. She is every tiny piece of happiness in this life. My world revolves around her. Recently my world has completely crumbled.. I left my marriage for many reasons that I’d rather not go into details about. I am not here to say I had no faults in our marriage. I have openly admitted to my wrong doings & turned to god. This is not a post meaning to degrade her father in any way possible it’s just a short description of the miracle I need. In correspondence of doing so her father filed for full custody & is attempting to remove her from the one parent she’s known her whole life. Unfortunately her father did not have any part of her life until she was almost a year old. He chose to not do so. Now he’s using every and all attempts to destroy my heart by fighting for the one thing that means the most to me. I gave him the marital home and in doing so I relocated. The past four months have been extremely difficult financially, he has not helped support his daughter. He comes from a very wealthy family who offered me $5,000 the day before our temporary court hearing to sign over my rights to my little girl.. When I refused they noted they’d see me in court. She’s not just my daughter she’s my sunshine. She is every reason I push forward to do better. I am currently working & attending college as a nursing student.. Financially I cannot come up with the retainer fee for a lawyer. I have prayed and prayed about the situation but god put it on my heart to reach out to the community. No one ever likes to ask for help.. especially not a independent single mama but I cannot loose my baby. If you aren’t able to make any donation just a simple prayer will do just as much. We are so appreciative of anyone who takes time out of their day to think of us. ❣️
