Josh’s Journey To A New Heart

I’m starting this page to help my mom and stepfather, Josh. For as long as we’ve known Josh he has struggled with heart problems. In March of this year, the same month they were married, he was officially put on the transplant list and was getting weekly treatments from nurses that would go to their home. Last week, he was admitted into Newark hospital for an indefinite amount of time until a heart becomes available because his is functioning so little. He’s undergoing an operation today which unfortunately we couldn’t be present for. My mom has always worked her ass off and currently has 2 jobs to support the family. The traveling to and from the hospital (3 hours there and back) will be a lot on my mom and will require her to take a lot of time off of work. I love my mom and Josh endlessly and I don’t want them to have to experience any more stress than they already are in this difficult situation.
