Raising Valuable Funds For Equipment For Surge

So I’ve decided to step outside my comfort zone, and do something that I didn’t want to do. But, I’m not doing this for me, I’m doing it for an amazing group of kids who deserve it. When I set up Surge, I wanted to create a community that was accessible to everyone, no matter of financial status, ethnicity, age, ability or disability. I’m so proud to say that I think Surge has become this. Everyone has the right to learn valuable self defence skills no matter what. So, ive decided to give this a go. I’ve set up a gofund me page, to raise money for equipment for teaching. I am in desperate need of equipment for all my courses, but none more so than my children’s class. I know some of you must be thinking it’s just a normal martial arts class. But it isn’t. Surge is a non profit organisation, I charge £15 a child per month that goes straight to rent. My time is free, my admin work is free, my knowledge is free. There’s no money left for equipment. If you could spare any amount, I would be eternally grateful and so would everyone who comes along to courses or classes. I don’t know if these type of things work, but I’m giving it a go!
