We the People is sponsored by My Brothers Keeper, a non profit organization established in October 2006 for the purpose of helping people.
We the People is funded by donations from men and women throughout North America with a heart to Pay It Forward.
Mission:
The mission of the "We the People" project is simply to help people faced with the challenge of paying for everyday basic necessities, such as utilities (electric, gas, water), and to help prevent families from home evictions.
Key Project Notes:
· All Utility and Rent/Mortgage Assistance is based on donations received and available at the time of the request.
· All payments for utility help and rent/mortgage help are made payable to the utilities company and/or rent/mortgage company. Not to the Individual desiring assistance, NO EXCEPTIONS!
· We the People desire is to help as many people as possible during their time of need, therefore, each household is limited to One Utility and One Rent/Mortgage payment assistance annually.
