My sister, Lisa Dorschner, lost her husband unexpectedly last week as a result of a major stroke.
Jim was only 55 years old and left 4 children behind. Mary is 13 years old and starting 8th grade, John is 16 and will be a Junior in high school where his Dad was the band teacher. Raymond, 20 years old and Gloria whose is 22 are both students at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
Now, my sister faces a challenge of helping all four of these children finish their education as well covering their ordinary living expenses. She will be doing this alone as an art teacher.
My sister is never one to ask for help, but has always been willing to give. I know many people will gladly give to Lisa and her 4 kids during this really tough time. So many people loved Jim. His funny and kind personality will be missed dearly.
