Protect Our Fields

My name is Marvin Carson. I am a local chiropractor and avid supporter of soccer in my community. I am currently the Tullahoma High School girls head soccer coach, team chiropractor for the mens team and Motlow College, director of the Local international league, and owner of Action Indoor Sports (indoor soccer field). I have lived in this community since 1998 and have played, run camps, organized tournaments, organized leagues, coached youth rec and travel, served on the local soccer board, reffed youth and high school, and have done almost everything and anything to grow the sport of soccer.
Our small town soccer complex is the home to several select soccer clubs and the Tullahoma Recreational program. It is also used by our middle school, high school, adult pickup, a large latin league, and even the local college (Motlow) uses these fields at various times. It is no exaggeration to say hundreds of players every week are playing on the Johnson Lane Soccer fields. Last night vandals used our cherished fields for their recreational mudding and drifting competition. They damaged the fields leaving them unplayable. Although this has happened before, other instances were minor. This will take lots of time and effort to repair, so we are raising money to repair the fields, improve security, and hopefully catch the vandals. This money will be given directly to the City.
