A group of individuals got together to collect basics to deliver to New Jersey. The 1st load was delivered at a church in downtown Atlantic City. This time, we plan to go to Rockaway, NY. We will be working with the Far Rockaway First Presbyterian Church.
The money is needed for gas for the truck, purchasing supplies we don't get (like air mattresses or diapers or food); travel expenses.
100% of the money raised will go to help residents of New York get the supplies we collect. Last time we helped over 1,000 people!

List of items we are pushing for: I am including the full list, but so far, we don't have ANY food. We only have a few kids coats, no kids shoes, very few sheets and towels, and hardly any paper type products. Although I did not include a list of toiletries, we do need those as well. Thank you so much everyone! I could also really use help spreading the word!!
Super Storm Sandy Relief Effort #2
We are going again! Collecting supplies for Hurricane Sandy victims in New Jersey now through Christmas. We need things in NEW or EXCELLENT used condition (no smoke, pet hair, no stains) :

"¢Warm coats all sizes
"¢Gloves, hats and scarves
"¢Space heaters, hand-warmers, generators "¢Underwear and socks all sizes
"¢Diapers and Depends, all sizes "¢Non-perishable food basics and can openers "¢Bath towels, wash rags
"¢Warm shoes, boots and rubber boots all sizes
"¢Work gloves and respirator charcoal masks
"¢Bottled Water

Thank you so much! Receiving donated items at 8000 Paseo del Norte, in the shops at Paseo Crossing from 10 am- 8 pm Monday-Saturday and 12 pm-6 pm on Sunday. Our new space faces Wyoming. Volunteers Welcome!!
