Paige Rawson’s Rocky Mountains

Paige Rawson, from Knightswood in Glasgow has been diagnosed with blood Cancer at the age of 2 years and 4 months. Paige went through the hardest treatment regime imaginable. Spend 5 months in hospital and is currently in remission, yet the fight is not over. Paige will have to undergo chemotherapy every single day and twice on a Tuesday until December 2020. Paige’s Dad Alfie Rawson, an experienced climber who climbed the likes of Mount Everest and Mera Peak, In aid of charities is taking on a new challenge. This time not one but 3 Scottish mountains over 2 days. Ben Nevis 4412 ftEttive Mor 3674 ftBen Arthur 2900 ftThis is a total of 10 986 ft This will happen on July 20th and 21st, 2019. This will be 11 months since Paige’s diagnosis and to celebrate how far she came Alfie will be climbing 1000 ft for each month. All money raised will go to Les Hoey MBE Dreammaker Foundation, a charity who supported Paige and the whole family during this time. This is a small charity who managed to put a smile on our girls face during the darkest times of our and her life.
