Hola!
To anyone who knows my in-laws, Mark and Robin, you know that their hearts are always giving to those in need and to the down and out. Whether it is their finances, time or resources, they never ask for anything for “themselves”.
Robin has mentioned, in passing, several times that she would LOVE for someone to “distress her cabinets”. This Easter she mentioned it again. In that moment, because I’ve done it before, I thought, “I could do that for her while they are gone this summer”. Quickly, God said I was “thinking to small and that He had a bigger plan”.
So many of your lives have been radically changed by experiencing the heart of missions through my in-laws. God has used them to spark a passion for the nations in SO many! I know that each of you would love to be a part of something that would just be “for them”. Although it seems small, I believe Jesus is in the small details of our lives and cares about letting His kids know He is thinking about them!
Every cent raised will be used to renovate their kitchen and any left over will be used for decor, gift cards to fill their cabinets when they get back, and a sentimental gift that will be from everyone who gave and was a part of this special surprise!
Thankfully, their kitchen is small in size and the labor will be donated (by the family LOL), so the only cost will be materials. Every dollar will add up and no gift is too small!
