Susan vs. Sandy

This site has been set up to help my sister-in-law Susan overcome the devastation resulting from Hurricane Sandy.  Susan lives in Hoboken, NJ and on October 29th @ 11:35 pm she sent a text saying, "My street is a lake and the water is rushing through the front door.  We are going to be flooded." I did not receive this text until next morning and when I did my heart sank.  The next morning she found three to five feet of contaminated water from the Hudson River filling the entire first floor of her home.  She and all of her neighbors had their homes condemned by PSE&G making them uninhabitable. 

While Susan can rebuild her home - and insurance should cover most of the repairs - there is one loss that cannot be recovered until renovations are complete.  As a small business owner who works out of her home with 70% of her clientele, she has lost that same percentage of income that cannot be recouped.  Because of this, I am asking that you donate anything that you can to help her.  After all, even though she cannot live or work out of her home she still must pay the same bills that you and I pay: mortgage, insurance, gas, electric, water, sewer, taxes, etc. without a major part of her income.  

With your generosity and support, we can help Susan do this! In this holiday season of giving, any donation will mean a great deal. I thank you in advance for your willingness to help someone  who has spent years helping empower women to live a life full of vitality. All funds raised, excluding fees from "gofundme.com", will be donated to Susan to relieve some of her financial burden as she works with FEMA, insurance companies, Small Business Administration and multiple contractors.
