I have been on twitter and Facebook 24/7 this past week tracking who needs what in Brooklyn, Staten Island & Long Island due to Sandy. I spent Sunday afternoon in Coney Island and can't begin to describe what I witnessed. It was one of those life changing observations that I refuse to let go to waste. I saw what is needed firsthand. Monday I came across someone who had enough peanut butter and jelly for 1000 sandwiches but needed bread. I personally paid $200 to have bread available. My goal here is to have people donate any amount of $ they can. I will post balances and receipts for all items purchased and will personally hand deliver all purchases. Please help as winter is approaching and help is desperately needed.
