There is no place like home...Sea Bright NJ
Donation protected
My heart goes out to those tragically affected by the superstorm. Many victims are struggling to find ways to recover from serious damages to their homes, cars, neighborhoods and worse.

Hurricane Sandy has put many things in perspective; for one, there are so many things we are grateful for. It's also forced us to recognize how much we've come to rely on electricity...still, we know if our biggest problem is having no power, we're incredibly blessed.
While many of us are lucky to have our homes and apartments mostly intact, it can be difficult to see the light when everything you own is swept away and irreplaceable.
It is my honor, to help a friend who is trying to readjust to normalcy without a home, a car, clothes... and stay strong for his daughters, Alexandra and Ashley. Chuck Bertrand is a man who has devoted his life to his family, friends, faith and career. He loves coaching sports, enjoys playing golf or basketball, and more than anything sitting on the beach with a Coors Light chilling in a Koozie.
It may take weeks, even months, for many communities like Sea Bright to recover from Sandy. While donating to the Red Cross or other organizations is a way of giving..many social media feeds point out that these supplies are heavily delayed along with FEMA assistance.
Acknowledging the fact that a natural disaster has taken place goes a long way. Chuck realized he can't do this alone. He needs us and has reached out to his personal network. I ask for your help! He is searching for a temporary place until things are figured out. If you can offer a home cooked meal, clean sheets, a shower, an outlet, a glass of water or ok maybe wine...it goes even further.
Financial Donations would be extremely helpful. A few people have mentioned gift cards, care packages, gas cards... anything would be wonderful!

On behalf of Chuck and his girls... words can't even describe how thankful they are to have your support.
" The adventure of life is to learn. The purpose of life is to grow. The nature of life is to change. The challenge of life is to overcome. The essence of life is to care. The opportunity of life is to serve. The secret of life is to dare. The spice of life is to befriend. The beauty of life to give. The joy of life is to love. " William Arthur Ward
Please help and extend to those who know Chuck.
THANK YOU and God Bless America!
