Teaching volunteer in Uganda - 2013
For years, I have wanted to travel to Africa and volunteer. I have never had the opportunity to do so because I have been so focused on my studies. Now that I have completed a year and a half of my degree in International Development at McGill University, I think it is time that I get some real world experience. I have, therefore, decided to put my degree on hold and volunteer in Uganda!
Starting January 21st 2013, for 12 weeks, I
will teach in a community school in Kampala. I am doing this trip with International
Volunteers HQ, a New Zealand based organization.
I have set up this page to ask you, my family and friends,
to help me help them. I am hoping to fundraise enough money to cover my costs
and make my project a success. Every little bit counts so please help in any
way you can! Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated!
