Cities are the dominant reality of the world we live in. Of the world’s 7.3 billion people, 3.9 billion live in cities. By 2050 it is projected that 66% of the population will live in cities. Urban environments face many complex issues (crime, poverty, housing, racial conflict).
With these challenges, our cities, like Baltimore, can end up looking more like battlegrounds rather than playgrounds. Investing in the transformation of Baltimore's leaders is more than inviting people to a program - it takes leadership - and not just leadership, but leadership with a purpose.
Seeing Transformation in Baltimore takes going where people live, listening to them, and pointing them to the God-given purpose(s) that will ultimately meet their deepest needs. For these reasons, The 1C9 Leadership Foundation was created.
Beginning in January 2020, The 1C9 Leadership Foundation will be launching The 1C9 Emerging Leaders Program and we need your help! Our goal is to serve a generation of Emerging Leaders in Baltimore - to empower men and women of God that have been ignored, underdeveloped or dismissed towards a lifestyle of transformation.
However, this kind of wide-scale transformation and change begins at the individual level, one step at a time. From our leadership development and coaching services to our community development projects, you can partner with us as we strive to build a better future for Baltimore's communities.

1.) Launch Projects in Baltimore that address Community Health & Wellness Needs.
2.) Resource Future Emerging Leaders with training, development, and coaching to reach their communities' needs.
3.) Invest in families and communities in Baltimore that have been ignored, underdeveloped or dismissed.
