Wes' European Volleyball Tour

For those of you that don't know me, I am 24 years old, a graduate from UNCW, and a volleyball fanatic. I have always been interested in volleyball, ever since my uncle's pickup grass volleyball on Wednesdays when I was a child. There were never any opportunities to play growing up, but still the interest maintained. I fell in love with volleyball my freshman year, and it quickly became a passion of mine. I played club for UNCW the next four years, and began playing beach volleyball as well. Slowly I improved and have become competetive in Open level competition on both the beach and indoor volleyball.
Last summer was my best one yet, winning multiple tournaments in the grass and sand, fininshing top-5 in points for VolleyAmerica Grass. Now, my next goal is to taky my passion oveseas for a year and play professionally for an indoor team!
I am trying to raise enough money to join the Bring It Promotions Men's August Firesale tour, which is a program that takes interested and promising volleyball players on a tour starting in Maribor, Slovenia. The tour travels through multiple countries and there will be play everyday in front of professional coaches; hopefully I will be able to secure a tryout and obtain a 9-month contract from one of the teams. The 2500 would be enough to cover the cost of the tour itself, 1200, which includes meals, lodge, travel, and volleyball activities. It would also cover the cost of airfare, roughly 1300, to get to Maribor. This will give me the best possible chance to get to realize my dream of playing professional volleyball.
The Men's Tour must have arrived in Maribor by August 17, so the full amount must be paid by the middle of June. The longer it takes me to raise the money for my plane ticket and the tour, the higher the overall cost will be.
I have started a volleyball club in Wilmington, NC; Port City Volleyball Club. This is partially to bring grass volleyball to Wilmington, but also to help raise money for this volleyball tour. Proceeds from any tournaments this summer will go towards this fund, so if you would like to help me out and have some fun at the same time, come out and play.

I am somewhat of a homebody, so this is a big move for me and the more support I have, the better.
