A Letter from Pianos
To all of our patrons, friends and family who have passed through our doors over the last 18 years on Ludlow Street,
We wish to thank you and express our sincere gratitude for helping us build a community like no other. Almost everyone who has lived in or visited New York City has had a night to remember at Pianos.
In 2002, we set out to provide a venue for dancing and live music on the Lower East Side, and in the process we have become a place known for diversity in times of adversity, and in this we take great pride. Our success has been humbling. Now we find ourselves in an unimaginable position and have closed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We feel that we have meant a lot of things to a lot of people. If we have meant anything to you, please consider helping now in this difficult time.
Pianos serves as the livelihood for an incredible team of employees, including bartenders, barbacks, managers, DJs, sound engineers, talent agents, security, door persons, waitstaff, kitchen staff, coat check, maintenance and accounting.
This is a call for support. All funds raised here will go directly to our staff to help supplement lost income.
For your contribution, we will be forever grateful. If you are not able to give, we still thank you and appreciate your business over the years.
Please know that Pianos is committed to the future… and dancing with our friends through any and every obstacle that we face.
