160,000 Pushes For Lakers

Hi! We’re Poseidon Lifesaving Club, based in Greystones, County Wicklow and we’re organising the 24 hour CPR event in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.  In this event teams of 5 people will be continuously doing CPR compressions on a training mannequin for 24hours straight, each team will alternate every 30minutes giving each team a rest after each half hour. Additionally we will be using an app to record the quality of compressions giving each team a score of how well they are completed.


We’re fundraising for the Bray Lakers charity in Bray. https://lakers.ie/about-us/. They aim to enable children and adults with an intellectual disability to develop their personal skills and self esteem in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.


On the 22nd of February 2020 we will be hosting the 24hour CPR event in the Lakers Building in Bray.


Any donations are appreciated and all money donated will be given directly to The Bray Lakers. We would also like to invite companies to sponsor 5 people from your business to come down on the day and learn CPR for 1 hour and then complete a full 30minutes of compressions as part of the 24hours. The entry fee for a team is €200 and you will each receive a T-shirt and certificate showing that you took part in this event!!
