Murray Family Fundraiser

On behalf of the 12 Labours CrossFit, we would like to share a unique opportunity for our amazing community to help someone in need. We know someone within our CrossFit community that is struggling to make ends meet with her children. Kim Murray has always had a close connection with the 12 Labours community because she has been the medical lead for the Mid-Atlantic Affiliate Challenge since 2014. You also might have seen her as the medical lead to fitness events include many local competitions, CrossFit Regionals, and even the Games.

We will be hosting a 10:00 AM community workout at the 12 Labours Columbia District on Saturday, 10/20 to workout/meet the amazing CrossFit community helping her out!

Kim is an aneurysm survivor and currently unable to work because of her medical condition for the past two years.  She was recently homeless with her 3 children and lives currently in a one bedroom apartment. The stressors of her life including feeding her children, paying for medical bills, and keeping a roof over their head are all things our CrossFit community can certainly help out with.

Her son Scott (25) is contributing 100% of his paycheck to assisting with paying rent for their entire family and it’s still not enough. Kim, Amanda (15), Alexa (13), and Jack (10) are all living in a tight corridor. Finding healthy food options is always difficult and getting new clothes to fit is always a struggle.
