10k Corgi Walk For Justice and Change

The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for non-profit organizations serving marginalized communities of color. The total collected amount will be split equally and donated to the following organizations:
1. National Bail Out
2. National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
3. American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California
4. Equal Justice Initiative
5. Black Visions Collective
All received donations will be 100% employer-matched for up to $10,000 in 2020. In addition to those who contribute, we will be donating $500 to the collected amount. This fundraiser will be open until 12/18/2020. We will make the first round of donations on 7/5/2020. Any donations made after this date will be donated later in the year and we will provide updates until the end of the year.
Since we are still trying to maintain social distance and welcome any form of exercise, we plan to walk 10k with our pup, Zoey, over the July 4th weekend in honor of what we believe our systems should be: just with respect to human rights.
2020 has brought even more attention to the injustices and racism across American systems, but specifically, to the continuous brutality and mistreatment of the African American and Black community. We want to take this opportunity to support organizations that have a history of serving individuals of marginalized communities unjustly impacted by systems and fighting against racism and injustice.
We encourage you to join us in this effort to make change in the systems that maintain racism and injustices towards Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Any amount is welcomed and truly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others.
