100k for SSAFA Challenge
My name is Daisy, I am a 17 year old former dressage rider, soon to be soldier, and I am raising money in aid of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. I leave for basic training in January so, during my last few weeks of home time, I thought it would be a good idea to raise some money for an exceptional charity.
I am taking on the challenge of running 100k in the month of December, aiming to complete 25k a week, and hopefully achieving my goal of raising at least £500 for SSAFA. Any donations are hugely appreciated.
Here’s some more information about SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity: SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. Every year, thanks to the donations, grants and legacies they have received, they have helped more than 85,000 people in need, from second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts. SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person, and they are here for that person - whenever and wherever they need their help.
