Dream Car Rebuild for Disabled Vet

Donation protected
I'm not the first person I would choose to write something like this, but here goes nothin!

I spent 7 years of my life as a soldier and combat engineer in the US Army. I did two deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Served in the hardest areas, in the worst of times, with the best of men.
After my second deployment, I was transferred from Ft. Bragg, NC across the country to Ft. Lewis, WA. That was where the extent of my injuries (sustained in combat in 2010 in Afghanistan) were too great for me to continue fighting for this beautiful country.
After getting a full medical retirement with 100% disability from the VA from only 7 year's service, I decided to buy myself a retirement gift. That gift came to me in the form of a 1974 Chevy Nova Custom "Spirit of America" Edition. She was in pretty rough shape, but driveable. It definitely needs work - inside and out.

In September of 2016, I decided to try to go back to school to help me figure out what I want to do when I grow back up again. Against the advice of several people at the VA who said, "you're too disabled to do that", I ended up enrolling into the Western Technical College Automotive Department for the sole purpose of rebuilding my Nova. The first week of school, I joined the SkillsUSA Auto Club right away and have been a very active member in the club. As soon as the other members heard my story about being wounded in combat, getting retired, and how much my Nova means to me, they had the idea to use my Nova as the SkillsUSA Club project build.

Now, here is where I need your help. Being 100% disabled, I live on a fixed income. Where I will be able to pay for many parts for the rebuild, it would be an amazing blessing - not only to me, but to the other club members, if we could get donations from generous people like you. Whether it is monetary donation, or even supplying a part or two that we will work on. Anything helps and everything is appreciated!
