Edina Pollinator Garden
Donation protected
Hello, this is Zoe Cheung, Annika Wennerlund, and Ellen Pflaster, and we're sophomores at Edina High School.
We are currently working on a yearlong school project. Earlier in the year, we researched and wrote about monarch butterfly and honeybee conservation. Now, we are working on turning our research into positive change through service learning. A main factor in the disappearance of pollinators is habitat loss. We are hoping to combat this habitat loss by planting a ‘pollinator friendly’ garden in a local park or space and distributing educational brochures at local shops.
We are very excited to plant this garden, and all the money we receive will be used to buy pollinator friendly plants for it. Ideally, we'd like to raise $500 but everything helps!
We believe that we can make a positive change in our community. Thank you for being a part of that change.
