Dear Friends,

As you may have heard, one of Accel’s employees has recently been faced with a difficult family crisis. Bo Vragovic’s oldest son, William, has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare form of blood cancer.

In Will’s own words, don’t Google it, because what you may find online is terrifying. As Will is only 29, the doctors are optimistic that with the recent advances in cancer research and persistent therapy, his outlook is better than the average patient’s.

Will has a very long battle ahead of him as the doctors are still finding the most effective treatment to help him fight this deadly disease.

In order to help Will and his family get through these challenging times, we are reaching out to all our employees, friends and families to ask for monetary donations. We ask that you please consider donating what you can to help alleviate some of the financial burden the sudden illness has brought on.

Accel will gladly match all donations received.

Thank you all for your amazing generosity and support. Here's the latest update from Will:

I know it’s been a while since my last update and I’ve definitely got to apologize. Of course, all of you have kept pouring out support, texts, phone calls…a guy literally could not ask for a better family, group of friends, or colleagues. Thank you so, so much for your continued support as I keep up this fight.

The fight, by the way, is being kept up - and kept up hard. This remains a battle I am equipped to handle, my doctors seem very pleased with how my body is responding to treatment, and things are going very well.

We do have a new team - I am now being treated at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. This is not a shot against my team at Bayfront - in fact, they recommended the change. When you have world class cancer treatment facilities right down the road, you take advantage. The specialized care has been unbelievable. We have a team of specialists for everything from pharmacy to pain management to physical and occupational therapy. My lead physician is a world renowned Multiple Myeloma specialist.
I’ve been in-patient since Monday and am looking at making the switch to outpatient this weekend. I will still have to make trips over here and there will be some times where I’ll have to do short stints again in-patient, it will all follow the numbers and chemo schedule as that develops, but so far the plan seems very manageable.

As far as how am I doing? That can simply be put as each day I can feel improvement, each day a little stronger, and my spirits are high. We’re gonna beat this thing into the ground.
