Extradition of accused rapist David Wakefield

There are numerous people residing in the United States who have committed horrific crimes in other countries but were able to escape back to what they believe is the safety of their Country hiding behind the complicated and lengthy process of extradition. In the case of David Alan Wakefield of Wenatchee Washington, he was able to evade justice and make it back to the United States hours before being detained by the Department of Justice in the Philippines.
The allegations are of two counts of rape, one of an 18 year old and one of a 16 year old child. At the time of the incident, David Alan Wakefield was 50 years old. This made the top ten list of fugitives for the National Bureau of Investigation but slipped by the U.S. Marshals and local law enforcement in the United States. David Alan Wakefield, after returning from the Philippines was allowed to get a license to produce and process marijuana through the Washington State liquor and Cannabis Board because the background check did not require him to provide outstanding warrants other than from the United States. He has been operating this very lucrative business with no regard for international law through this loophole in the legal system.
As you can only imagine the frustration of the victims with this kind of emotional and physical trauma, along with the subsequent process and procedures they had to undergo with this crime such as post rape exams and everything else associated with this type of abuse. During this whole ordeal, wondering if David Alan Wakefield would ever face justice. With your help, raising ten thousand dollars will cover legal fees and extradition of the accused David Alan Wakefield to Antipolo City, Philippines.
In this country, we take for granted being aware and protected from sex offenders through the many processes and laws that are in place such as requirements for them to register in the county of the crime etc. In this case of this being overseas and his evasion of justice, we do not have these normal safe guards in place.
