We are a K-8 Charter School outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Over 60% of the students in our school are on either the free or reduced lunch program. Many of the children do not have the resources at home to enjoy three meals a day during the weekends. We are going to provide these students with a minimum of two meals, as well as snacks, fresh fruit, and juice. The goal for Propel Provides and East Eats is to begin providing food within the next few weeks and continue for the balance of the school year. We are going to keep fundraising so that this will be a program that continues every year. A donation of less than $10 will provide food for one child for a weekend. Please consider giving so that our students can eat.
