EVMS's Race for Track/XC Uniforms!!
East Valley Middle School opened in the fall of the year 2003. At this time, eighty-five (85) Track & Field/Cross Country uniforms were ordered. These uniforms are now over 13 years old and many have been lost or have disappeared throughout the years! These uniforms are old, faded, torn, and burnt out! They have soaked the sweat of many athletes over the years, and are ready to be retired.
Our East Valley Track & Field team averages over 125 athletes every year. With less than 85 team uniforms, many students unfortunately must compete in their regular school P.E. uniforms. Our goal is to raise enough money so that ALL student-athletes can race proudly in a new East Valley team uniform that shows our competition that we dress to win, and back it up with our race times and marks!
East Valley has phenomenal Track & Field/Cross Country programs that consistently place in the top three in the InterValley League. New team uniforms for these student-athletes will mean a lot to the many students who compete on our teams. When we compete, over half of our team races without a team uniform. Proudly wearing a new team uniform will help unify ALL of our student-athletes and will mean a lot to the many students who race for the East Valley Bobcats!
