Everglades Historical Village

Everglades City was the first seat of Collier County which was established in 1923. The area still has a rich heritage and is an example of "olde" Florida.
We want to save little old buildings that were damaged during Hurricane Irma and move them to an Historical Village where they can house an arts & crafts gallery, coffee shop, information center.
The village would create a focal point for tourists and local life. It would also have a native plant garden with frequent sales and be a venue for musical events.
Our idea has been received enthusiastically by residents and people in other parts of the County but we need funding to move and rehabilitate the buildings.
