Evan Davis Fallen Climber Fund

Donation protected
It is difficult reminder of the danger in our industry when one of our own fall. Evan Davis was badly injured last week. He was injured Thursday afternoon around 2:30. We think he fell 35-40', the ground crew was cleaning up and didn't see him fall. He was ascending a single line with a rope wraptor when the sweetgum branch which was about 5-6" that the rope was over broke at the crotch. Prayers are appreciated.

Evan is a regular at GAA meetings and a great guy. He was climbing for Mark Collins of Appleseed Tree Service. Mark is very well respected in the industry, and he is doing everything in his power to address the situation in the appropriate manner. As the mater becomes more public, the GAA will be sure to share lessons so we can learn together to make our industry safer.

Evan is at Atlanta Medical Center and is upbeat considering the condition he's in. He's talkative and mostly coherent but he's getting iv drips of some strong meds. Everything works from the waist up but legs are numb.

We want to establish a fund for any worked missed and expenses that might come up during this initial period of hospitialization. Most importantly we want to convey that the industry stands behind him, so any amount is appreicated. Thank You for your consideration.
