Essary's Adoption

Will came to live with Tony and Angelica Essary on January 27, 2015. He was a student in Angelica's first grade class when DCS took him into custody. They could not find a placement for him or his brother. Because Will is special needs, Angelica knew she had to do something. A quick call to her husband Tony and they both were in agreement that Will and his brother needed to come home with them. Tony and Angelica received legal custody of Will in July of 2015. His brother was placed with his biological father, who is different from Will's. Now, two years later, Will has been diagnosed with Autism. Tony and Angelica work so incredibly hard to help him academically, behaviorally, emotionally, and physically. Will considers Tony and Angelica "mom and dad". They love him so very much and cannot begin to imagine a life without him. Tony and Angelica have been in the process of adopting Will since January 2016. With the adoption process comes expenses of a lawyer as well as other fees. As this has continued for over a year, costs have grown exponentially. The Essary's work extremely hard to cover the costs to have their son officially become a member of their family. Tony has taken on the responsibility of 3 jobs. With the Essary's, Will has gained so much. He has been exposed to things that he would have never had access to in his previous environment. He enjoys classical music, theater productions, trips to the zoo and the movies, and of course, playing minecraft! Will plans to attend college and "wants to study animals that live under water. Like whales and sharks!"
We, as a group of family and friends, wanted to share their story with you. The Essay’s are giving, kind, loving, exceptional people who deserve to have Will as a permanent member of their family.  Any help you would be so greatly appreciated.
