Esight For Kevin

December 27th, 2015 Kevin woke up with a black hole in the center of his vision in his right eye. After multiple Drs visits with no answers he was sent to the Retinal Clinic in Edmonton.
It took months of investigation, 27 vials of blood, MRI's, CT scans and ECG's to conclude that Kevin had a crushed retina. The arteries in his right eye had been leaking blood, crushing the retina and leaving him with approximately 8% of his peripheral vision. Also leaving him extremely light sensitive. Exactly 6mths later on July 27th Kevin woke up to discover the same thing had happened to his left eye. Leaving him with 12% peripheral vision. Multiple medications and tests have been preformed showing no signs of improvement and being told he is now legally blind.
Fortunately there is technology that will allow Kevin to see and live a normal life. Esight glasses will assist Kevin in his day to day life, being able to enter the work force and have a brighter future!!
Unfortunately this technology comes with a hefty price tag and no support/funding within our health care system.
