Eric & Lisa Hill's family has been blessed over the years by adoption. About a year ago the birth mom of their two youngest daughters approached them and asked them if they would consider adopting her 2 year old twin girls in an effort to keep all 4 siblings together. After prayerful consideration Eric & Lisa felt that the four sisters should be kept together as opposed to them being separated in the foster care system. Eric & Lisa welcomed these beautiful twin girls into their family with loving arms. Overnight the Hill's family grew from a family of 7 to a family of 9.
Eric & Lisa knew the road ahead would not be an easy one but they never expected the adoption costs would grow exponentially due to circumstances outside of their control. Their expenses include lawyer fees, court costs, counseling, medical bills, rehabilitation, and many others. However, this is what is required to keep these siblings together and to insure that their daughers thrive. These additional unexpected costs have placed an unbearable financial burden on the family but they continue to press forward to do all in their power to secure a loving future for these sweet little girls. In order to do so they need our help!
In addition to adoption expenses, this past winter Eric & Lisa experienced water damage to their home that required immediate repair and attention . There are still some repairs needed in their kitchen. To add insult to injury most recently their family vehicle used for transporting their family and daycare children is not available for use.
Eric is a teacher and a coach. Lisa provides in-home daycare and is working 12 hour evening shifts part-time as a registration clerk. Their sweet teenage daughter is also helping her family by donating her paychecks to help with the family's goals. This family is doing everything within their power they can for these sisters.
Adoption is a beautiful thing and Eric & Lisa have pulled out all the stops to insure these children can remain together. Our hope is to raise enough money for Eric & Lisa to finalize the adoption for the girls and help alleviate the financial burdens placed on their shoulders so they can focus on building their family rather focus on the financial obligations and keep their family together!
