The most powerful hurricane to hit Texas in decades struck Texas on Friday, damaging or destroying hundreds of homes, apartments, businesses, churches and government offices and killing at least one resident in a mobile-home fire. And, the storm has stalled over the southern portion of Texas creating wide spread flodding, destruction and much greater concern for health and safety. Wee want to join with you to make a difference and give back!
One Pebble, a social good startup in Austin, TX, is committed to finding and partnering with organizations who are doing great work, with boots on the ground and leaders from the affected community, who are committed to sustainability. As we consider the great need that is before us in serving those affected by Hurricane Harvey, our commitment to you is to make sure we partner with LOCAL organizations and leaders who will use the resources we provide in the best possible way.
We will be working through Ekklessia and Chris Seay to distribute goods and money to ensure that all your donation is properly used to serve those in need. We will use the funds to purchase the goods and deliver them in person. We will also work with the local representatives at the Second Harvest Food Center as well. We will personally be delivering the funds to ensure that the money is properly used. This will be done through our Company One Pebble.
Today you can either give a ONE TIME DONATION that will be used 100% for hurricane relief or JOIN our giving community in make a lasting impact!
We will keep you updated on who we work with, where the aid is going and how you have directly helped the victims of Hurricane Harvey!
