My four week old grandson has been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Meningitis, Citrobacter Koseri.
He has already been in hospital now for four weeks, the duration of his little life so far...and has already undergone brain surgery.
At present he resides in HDU at Kings College Hospital London, where my daughter, his mother will not leave his side. His father has temporarily been given a room by the charity Ronald McDonald 15 minutes from the hospital in order to help aid the strain this ordeal is already having on the lives. Johnny is currently on long term antibiotics and has yet another MRI scan tomorrow, which will establish if further surgery is required.
For a young family who live in Rochester, Kent.. things are now getting finically tough, and with a baby daughter also...many kind people have already asked if they could help in anyway.
As both are currently unable to work as they can't and won't leave the baby boys side, a donation towards Shelley & Dan's cost of living at present would be the help thats needed and the greatest blessing during this terribly difficult time.
