Ndulu English Program is a volunteer based program run by a group of passionate volunteers in Hiliamaetaniha village, a friendly community of approximately 1,800 people near Lagundri bay in the south of Nias Island, Indonesia. It’s purpose is to give underprivileged children and teens a chance to learn English.
They are currently in the process of upgrading their school facilities and have nearly finished a new classroom for their teenage students. Their next project is to build a classroom for the younger kids and they need your help! Alex, Lucas and I will be going over in September to help build it and need around $2,500. Donations will go towards the necessary construction materials; timber, roofing, concrete etc. Any amount is greatly appreciated and would be huge for the community. If you are interested in volunteering yourself find them on instagram and facebook and get in touch, teachers are always needed !
